This week publishers and other organizations involved in scholarly publishing are celebrating the first-ever Peer Review Week. The events of Peer Review Week are designed to recognize the integral role reviewers play in making journal content as valid, relevant, and impactful as possible.

One of the common refrains about peer review is that it’s a skill that’s never formally taught. If there were a course on peer review, here are a few resources that might be on the syllabus:
