Diana Mahbod
Diana (Mina) Mahbod recently graduated from nephrology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and has joined Dallas Renal Group, a private practice nephrology group in Dallas, Texas. Since discovering the robust online and social media nephrology community, she has become an enthusiast for online medical education and collaboration. She is part of the 2018 class of the Nephrology Social Media Collective (NSMC) and has contributed to NephMadness, Renal Fellow Network, and the AJKD blog. She has hosted two NephJC chats and is co-creator of LandmarkNephrology.com, an online educational initiative. Dr. Mahbod is on the executive committee of the Nephrology Business and Leadership University (NBLU) and is a member of the ASN and Women in Nephrology (WIN). She is also a Fellow of the National Kidney Foundation (FNKF) and has served on the Young Professional Board of the NKF of Northern California, as well as being featured as a guest in the “Life as a Nephrologist” podcast series. Dr. Mahbod hopes to provide the best care to her patients as a community nephrologist while staying connected to educational initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and the collaboration that is now possible across the world via the online nephrology community.
