Kelly is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of Cardio-Renal Physiology and Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has trained both in comparative physiology and kidney physiology labs and is currently a principal investigator of a basic science lab with research interests in novel mechanisms of fluid-electrolyte balance.
Anitha is Professor of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. She absolutely loves Nephrology, and consider it a real privilege to be able to care for patients with kidney disease.
Anitha is also the tweeter of the essential guide to #NephMadness and #SchittsCreek:
I am no @toates_19, so not trying any poetry or fancy takes on #NephMadness. But #SchittsCreek gave me a lot of joy the last year (never watched it before) and I couldn't help but compare the regions to the characters.😀 Here are my picks 🧵
Artificial Kidney Region is of course Alexis Rose. She is flashy and fashionable, but still putting her life together and figuring out where to go, similar to the unfinished devices/techniques in the category. I am not sure what is going to come of this section. Maybe AWAK? pic.twitter.com/q9MjQ3yeiU
