Journal Announcement: New Submissions to be Handled by New Editorial Team

Dr. Feldman of University of Pennsylvania
In anticipation of Dr. Feldman beginning his term as AJKD Editor-in-Chief effective January 1, 2017, the editorial office is in the process of transitioning from Boston to Philadelphia. As of October 1, all new manuscript submissions will be handled by Dr. Feldman’s team. Through December 31, Dr. Levey’s team will continue to handle the review and reconsideration of all manuscripts submitted on or before September 30. Contact information for both offices is provided at the end of this post.
In reality, this transition began with the Call for Applications back in April 2015. Even though we have been preparing for this move since the announcement of the new editorship earlier this year, there is still much to do to ensure that there are no operational disruptions for our valuable authors, reviewers, and editors. We will be using this blog as a platform to provide pertinent updates, so we highly encourage you to subscribe to the blog by email, or follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
If you’d like to read more about the incoming Editor-in-Chief, check out our interview with Dr. Feldman, or read the press release here. Under his leadership and the guidance of our newly assembled Editorial Board, we are confident that AJKD will continue to be a leading source of information for clinical nephrology practice and clinical research.
