Separation: An Interview

In A Few Words is a recurring AJKD feature that highlights the diverse stories that define kidney disease. In a recent piece, Dr Joseph Gaut recounts his time as a patient dealing with dialysis and transplantation. AJKD’s Social Media Editor, Timothy Yau, talks to Dr Gaut in this audio interview about how that experience as a patient has shaped his career:

Dr Gaut is the Section Head of Renal Pathology and the Associate Chief of the Division of Anatomic and Molecular Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine. We are grateful to him for sharing his personal story and participating in this interview.
