Viral Nephropathies: An Interview
Viral-associated nephropathy is when kidney disease results from active viral replication. In a Core Curriculum recently published in AJKD, Amy A. Yau and colleagues review common viruses responsible for kidney disease worldwide, discuss mechanisms of pathogenesis, and highlight specific management principles of viral nephropathies.

AJKDBlog’s Interviews Editor, Timothy Yau (@Maximal_Change) sat down with Drs. Gaddy (@AnnaGaddy), Yau (@amyaimei | @amyaimei.bsky.social), and Murugapandian (@Sang_Murugapand) to chat about the rapidly changing landscape of these diseases and their associated kidney manifestations.
