Patient Perspectives on Living with Membranous Nephropathy: An Interview
Membranous nephropathy (MN) is characterized by a relapsing remitting course with a third of patients developing kidney failure if untreated. A recent study published in AJKD by Chung et al described patients’ experiences, to help inform choices of clinical care and guide future research.

AJKDBlog’s Interviews Editor, Timothy Yau chatted with Edmund Y.M. Chung about the methodology of the paper and reviewed common themes of patients living with this disease, including the symptoms that impede life participation, the strain it can have on relationships, and the uncertain future that can weigh on patients living with membranous.
