#NephMadness 2019: Thank You
NephMadness 2019 draws to a close with Team US HTN Guideline entering the NephMadness Court of Champions:

We finally exceeded the 1,000-entry threshold with a grand total of 1,393 bracket submissions that were entered in Year 7 of NephMadness.
We inched up ever so slightly with the international participation, and realize there’s room for improvement here:
We were delighted to see the growth in Twitter participation, and greatly enjoyed all the banter and trashtalking this year!
Our favorite part of NephMadness 2019 was seeing all the NephMadnessParties – you Nephrons sure know how to party!
After announcing the 2019 Champion and Winners, we would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s NephMadness a reality (apologies in advance if we inadvertently missed anyone):

Friendly Reminder: The bracket fun may be over but NephMadness content will still be around on the AJKDBlog. US-based physicians can claim CME and MOC until June 15th, 2019 – Instructions are provided below and at the end of every region post.
How to Claim CME and MOC
US-based physicians can earn 1.0 CME credit and 1.0 MOC point for reading each region.
- Register/log in to the NKF’s Professional Education Resource Center (PERC).
- Review the activity and accreditation information.
- Click “Continue” and review Course Instructions.
- Complete Post-Test. Please note: By selecting “Yes” to the participation questions for each region, the corresponding Post-Test questions will appear. Click “Save Draft” to save your responses and finish later. When you are ready to submit your answers, click “Preview” to review all responses, then click “Submit.”
- Click “Next” to complete the Evaluation form, then click“Submit.”
- Claim 1.0 CME credit and 1.0 MOC point per region (up to 8.0 total for 8 regions of NephMadness).
- Print your certificate.
- Review the Post-Test answers and rationale.
The CME and MOC activity will expire on June 15th, 2019.
