The NephMadness 2014 Champion has been crowned and now it’s time to declare the prize winners of the tournament! Of course, as we’ve been saying all along, it’s not about winners or losers, but about learning nephrology.

The next 10 eligible entrants with the highest number of points achieved will each be receiving a second place prize of a NephMadness coffee mug. Please see the scoring & rules for more details about the prizes. The final match results and the final standings are available at the NephMadness bracket site.

In addition to prizes for the participants with the top bracket scores, the NephMadness team feels that tournament is about community and wanted to show our appreciation of the community efforts. We appreciate everyone who participated in NephMadness through blogging, tweeting, and other social media, but wanted to especially highlight a Best Blogger and Best Tweeter, not associated with the contest, and award each with a NephMadness coffee mug. The Best Blogger and Best Tweeter for NephMadness 2014 were judged on a secret mixture of quality and quantity.
